June is ending. So is Kristina’s internship. From now on, if you want to follow her, it happens here.
But before leaving, she gives us one last origami lesson to learn how to make funny berlingots. Don’t you think it would make perfect favors?

They make themselves scarce, but I know you like them, so because Mother’s Day is coming, I worked hard and here they are, a brandnew production of lucky bags like from our childhood.
This time it’ s about a floral motif, inspired by a fabric I showed you the other day.
But I don’t tell you more, because otherwise it won’t be a surprise anymore!

For her new origami lesson, Kristina has prepared little paper balloons. The funny part is at the end, when you blow, and the balloon appears like a surprise!
We threaded them like pearls on a necklace and this makes lovely garlands which I like to hang everywhere.
We used a new pattern. It’s called Juliette and there are 3 sheets of each of the 6 colors in every package. It comes in 2 sizes because it’s nicer to vary the balloons for the garland.

Here is the paper that Kristina used for the cubes !
There are four colour ranges (turquoise, yellow, pink, purple) each including 5 different patterns and one plain. That makes 18 paper sheets in each of the little packages.
Plenty to fold ! Especially because Kristina is preparing other origami lessons …
