Unless you live in Holland, there’s almost no chance that you found those pictures of my house published in “101 Woonideeen“. This is why I decided to share them with you here. And I answer before the question pops up : no, it’s not always this tidy…

Try to imagine what the picture would look like for example… taken from the top with different accessories (a black tray, a spoon with a red handle, and the whole put down on a wooden desk).
The atmosphere would have been much different.
That’s why each detail matters. Even the croissant you choose … That’s true!!! … Even the way it’s been bitten!
This part of my job brings me lots of joy!
It also remembers me when, as a little girl, I was used to create installations just to look at them.
But obviously, all of this means nothing without a good photographer…

LTA just published two new books : “Paris Vintage” by Hélène Le Berre and “Kawaï” by Christine Nivet. I am not the author, of course I’m not the photographer either, and none of my creations is featured in this books…
So, why do I have to say about??? Can you guess?

I had promised to the ones who has no printer or a temperamental one, that I will find a solution : I printed the 24 patterns from my Avent calendar so they can buy it if they want…
Colours are bright and the size which is a little bigger than A4 (22 x 30 cm) will take part in any DIY project…
I was thinking to use them to cover my books. I found this idea on this picture. I am sorry because I can’t remember where it comes from…

And then … while wandering on the net, I found it ! The angel who has had the patience to make this masterpiece has a name which sounds like a doll : Liza Lou!
It brought me a answer to a question I had since then: how long did it take her to make her “Kitchen”? The answer is 5 years !!! 5 years covering up everything in this room with tiny glass pearls!

I know that twelfth-night was yesterday, but it’s not a reason to forbid ourselves from eating the Twelfth Night cake, don’t you think ?
Here is my contribution to the party (with Clementine’s help, who just finished her intership) : colourful crowns for every heads !
Thank you so much for all your advices on the subject “fabrics made by Fifi”! It’s going to take a while, I am going to have to make some choices, find some money (or a sponsor who knows ?) but I am dying to do them as much as you do…

It’s decided : this year will mean new projects! I am not going to reveal everything to you today, but there is one close to my heart, that I would like to share with you : I’d love to create fabric’s designs ..
Great ! you’re going to say, (I hope !) but which one ??? Flowers ? Dots ? What colour ? Which one of my pattern would you like to see on a fabric ? What would you use it for ? I’d like to know what you are thinking about all that…
