Can you believe this water is naturally pink?
This is the Retba Lake in Senegal. Its water contains 40% salt, and the strawberry colour is produced by salt-loving organism Dunaliella salina… Not sure I would swim in this lake, but it looks nice, don’t you think?

Il parait que tout ce rose c’est naturel !
C’est le lac Retba au Sénégal. Son eau contient 40% de sel et l’algue Dunaliella salina qui s’y sent bien lui donne cette couleur de milkshake… Pas sûre que j’aimerais m’y baigner, mais c’est joli, non ?
